Ideas that fit

We are interested in focused explanations of screenwriting, directing, production design, camera choices and editing. Strong ideas give readers a useful way to understand a craft decision, compare approaches or follow how a technique works in a scene.

A useful pitch

Tell us the proposed angle, why it suits Dynamic Film Journal and what a reader will be able to understand after reading. Keep the scope manageable and distinguish your own interpretation from factual claims that need checking. A finished article is not required for an initial proposal.
