Editorial policy
Dynamic Film Journal aims to make film craft clear, fair and enjoyable to explore. Our explanations distinguish observation from interpretation, and we correct material when we learn it is inaccurate or unclear.
Accuracy and clarity
We take care with names, dates, production details and descriptions of film-making. When a point is uncertain or interpretations differ, we say so rather than presenting one reading as settled fact. We use accessible language and explain specialist terms when they are needed.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a promise of favourable coverage. A collaboration does not determine our editorial conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent analysis.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making the revised wording clear where the change matters to a reader.
Partners and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as illustrations and are not presented as documentary film stills or evidence.
